Storyline

War is everywhere: east, west, north, south. The war is always valued over the people who die. But the struggle of the people who survived will continue. Thousands of people are losing their lives and leaving behind their relatives. Burying the dead and grieving in response to a loss is holy to societies. This grieving period is a recovery period. Normal grieving allows one to let a loved one go and keep on living healthily. Grieving is painful, and it's important that those who have suffered a loss be allowed to express their grief. But it can be a never-ending melancholy and a social pathology if they cannot express it. This pathology gradually increases in communities exposed to mass trauma, and the generations are entering a never-ending grief period. Janya is a symbol of societies that have not completed the grief ritual. In the "Salvation Rain" project, I first wanted to complete a personal and communal grief period. In his childhood, Janya was the only one who survived by escaping from a night massacre. After 20 years, he returns, and the repressed grief overwhelms him. To cope with the past, Janya creates his own reality in a parallel time
